Roses are red
Violets are blue
Sunflowers are yellow
Just like your poo
Mommy is tired
Daddy is, too
But we both find solace
With a corkscrew
Sleep is a state
That you tend to eschew
Good thing you're cute
Or we might return you
Love, Mom

Very cute... the kid and the poem :)

ReplyDeletehaha, perfect ;)
ReplyDeleteLove it because it's real and your baby is adorable!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great Valentime for a great kid. Happy VD to all three of you.
ReplyDeleteHaha this is so cute. I want to show it to all of my new mom friends. I'm sure they'll appreciate it!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I could give my little man quite the same poem. Mind if I plagiarize? ;)
ReplyDeleteAdorable. Here's believing they should just hand out corkscrews at the hospital with every new baby...:)
ReplyDeleteThe last 3 out of 5 nights Gabe has slept through the night :) Even though he is now a year old, I am still pleased that I didn't cry-it-out with him. I knew it would happen on its own one day (knock on wood that this continues). Take comfort in knowing S will most likely be way ahead of Gabe here. And I love the poem. So funny.
ReplyDeleteThat is adorable. :)
ReplyDeleteWell that was some of the best poetry I've read in a while and I went to grad school for writing.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! And, my husband and I have said "Happy Valentimes!" to each other several times today.
ReplyDeleteWell put! And guess what - you can look forward to doing it all again when you get to be a grandparent! Yee, hah!
ReplyDeleteOh yes muthafucka!!!
ReplyDeleteSo true, so sad.
ReplyDeleteThat's a good "I got the world by the balls" smile S. has there.
Are you playing Superman? Mine all liked that. Hoisting them up and down on my legs yelling "1, 2, 3, Superman" with varying degrees of speed, height, and fake-outs.....geesh, the things we do.
Cute, Sassy! :-)
ReplyDeleteYou both are adorable. And lordy I know it's true. I have a 2 1/2 year old. Cheers!
