- I interviewed Christina Hendricks for the cover of this month's Capitol File. "I would leave you for her," Jeff says. He's so supportive of my career.
- The Cathy comic strip is ending. Aack! I had an idea to list all of the posts on this blog that could also have been Cathy comics, but that turned out to be a depressing endeavor. This scene from a marriage will suffice.
- I totally got a Hot Probs request, and not from a blood relative! Y'all know the drill -- got a hot prob? Email me. This is Heather. I mean, Tweety. I'm listening.

Dear "Tweety"--
ReplyDeleteAll my problems are hot. Mainly because I am. (No, not sexy...just fifty.)
Great article babe!!
ReplyDeleteSassy, I'd leave you (translation: stop reading your blog) for Christina Hendricks!
ReplyDeleteFor a while, anyway...
Love the article. Makes me want to watch Mad Men. I did when it first came out and then it fell to the wayside. Anyway...nice work!
ReplyDeleteHendricks looks a hundred times better on the cover of this magazine than she did on GQ. I'd love to see her on the cover where her boobs aren't being thrust into our collective faces, though...
ReplyDeleteI think you have to be a woman to get Kathy. It never made much sense to me. Haha.
ReplyDeleteSingle Dad Laughing
you rock! what a great interview. did she specify whether the stuff they wear on the show is actual vintage from the period? or does the costumer just recreate vintage styles?
ReplyDeleteKathy is ending? Sorry if you're a fan, but I've been waiting for this day for a long time. Not that it matters. They'll run old ones forever.
ReplyDeleteThanks guys, for the compliments on the article.
ReplyDeleteBut I'm commenting mostly to tell Single Dad Laughing and Sweaterman that I DON'T LIKE THE CATHY COMICS! I am lame in many ways, but not in that way. I've just referenced Cathy in a few posts in the past, and in my lower moments worry that I might have an inner Cathy, which is why I mentioned the ending of the strip.
Good God she is gorgeous. It's ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteYour story on Christina Hendricks was excellent! Nice work! :-)
