My Fashion Magazine Debut

Just FYI, I am now famous.

Yes, friends, that torso and fine chin in the upper left corner is me. I made Fashion Week Daily, the magazine of Fashion Week.

I don't even mind that my face is covered because it is obscured by the letters "OMG". How perfect. I mean, really. It might as well be a thought bubble coming out of my head.

By the by, my second and third Fashion Week installments for HuffPo are up. Find them here and here.

  3. That is awesome!

I was on the news one year talking about how great it is to vote, and I'm not even registered to vote.

I want an autographed copy of that magazine.

  9. Look on the bright side, at least they didn't photoshop you out! All kidding aside Sassy, that is not a nice photo splash for that magazine, and I'd much rather see pictures of you from a photo booth anyway...

  11. Why are the boring people in front of you? I bet they don't have witty self-deprecating blogs.

  14. @blue girl: It was exhausting but I did have fun. I just wish I could have brought someone with me. It's daunting to wander among such fabulous people alone.

@Ashley: Haha. Hopefully you realize I was kidding. I am the nobodiest of nobodies as far as the paps are concerned.

@Mr. Condescending: I should have gotten more than one copy, in retrospect...

@Mrs. L: I think it stands for Patrick McMullan, a famous shutterbug at these sorts of things... but i like YOUR acronym much better!

@Grandma: For me, too. It's like visiting an alien nation where everyone wears fur and has shiny chemical peel skin.

    @Mikkel: Thanks!

@Stephanie: I love my coat, too. I'm glad it got its moment in the spotlight.

@Scientific Housewife: Yes, just proof of my existence at Fashion Week is good enough for me.

@Shitty (haha): Yes, I much prefer photobooths to grainy chin-shots. I mostly posted it because it is so un-fabulous (in a fabulous way)

@Redbone: Right? I will check out your blog today. I promise. I have been so behind!

@Girl on Film: Seriously, they're just the editors of Elle Magazine. LAME.

@Katelyn: Why thank you! i'm blushing!

isn't the irina model with the feather-skirt that apparently used to be an intern at BlackBook also irina's model from ProjRun or is she just a look-a-like?

  16. Anonymous, I am such a retard. That is Kalyn, who won Models of the Runway. I just thought I knew her, and there was a semi look-alike intern I had once. Doh. I was so sure it was her!

  18. A similar thing happened to me last summer at the Gramercy Park Hotel. Jessica Simpson was attending a private dinner on the rooftop and she and I ended up riding the same elevator down to the lobby. I could see the paparazzi poised outside with their cameras and flashes, so when she exited the hotel, I was right behind her in the revolving door. The photo was posted the next day on People.com and I sent it to all my family and friends. They were like, "Um, we can hardly see you," and I was like, "Okay, you're totally missing the point!"

    Congrats on your new-found fame.
