Bloggers Do It Wearing Stupid T-Shirts

So I am SUPER busy for the next few days and may have to neglect my blogging (the good news? I'm getting to see fashion shows and write about how ridiculous it is that I am allowed anywhere near Bryant Park, and also I get swag like Diet Coke and shaving cream and Zone bars, which I think is basically the models' diet. They eat the shaving cream for the fatty acids and organ toxins).

But before I get to tell you all about my adventures in Zoolanderland, I do have some very important news to share with you.

One: Girl scout cookies? OBTAINED.

The four loves of my life: Jeff, Thin Mints, Samoas (Tagalongs not pictured)

And there are more coming; I have multiple dealers friends who took pity on me and my addiction.

Two, and kind of related: I own this shirt:

The rejected slogan? "Snackers do it crumby."

In fact, I am wearing right now as I embark upon my weekly Project Runway recap, which I have to finish tonight because tomorrow I'm going to the Project Runway Bryant Park fashion show! Maybe I should just wear the shirt and my harem pants. I wonder if I could make Michael Kors cry...

I'll update you tomorrow night, if I'm not passed out with my face in a plate of disco fries (here's hoping!)

  8. You have more followers on FB than the New Yorker political podcast, and only a few less than Patricia Highsmith, though she's dead. Have fun at Bryant Park! XO

How will you ever manage to keep your PR knowledge secret for so long??!? That is going to be excruciating.

  14. Speaking of shirts...hmm. Ok, just trying to find a way to tie this comment into your blog. I wanted you to know that Park Slope made the news in Rhode Island. That's right. It seems there was a woman with a little terrier dressed in a green sweater jacket (the dog not the woman) and she tied her dog outside while she went into a shop. When she came out, the dog had no (fabulous?) green sweater jacket. The dog had been mugged. And I couldn't help but think of your post about the Fabulous blogger. I'm not really sure why. I did wonder if the collar of the sweater jacket had a fur collar. Anyway, thought you should no. Again, not sure why. Thanks for all your great posts.

  21. DAMN! We just moved to Oldsville, FL and they banned the girlscouts. OK, probably aren't any; the smell of BenGay scared them off. Either way, no cookies for me this year.

  23. Thank you all for these comments. Like I said in the post, I'm having a crazy busy week, but I do want to respond to each and every one of you. I hope you know that!

Just one last thing, to Stephanie and all my other fellow bloggers: I promise to visit each and every one of your blogs (if you post the address in the comments) and I'll be doing it not to judge but to support you.

I started this blog four years ago and it's taken a long time not only to find an audience but to find my voice and writing style (it used to be pretty uneven... go back and read the early entries if you don't believe me). I know what it's like to compare myself to other bloggers and put myself down, but I really hope you guys don't do that with me.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, Bloggers unite!

    XO
